WESTINGHOUSE WOOD TOMBSTONE
MODEL #: WR-22. YEAR: 1934. TUBES: 6C6, 6D6(2), 42 AND 80. I stopped at a yard sale in the fall of 1996 and asked if they had any old radios. As it turned out the home owner used to be a radio & TV repairman and had this and many spare tubes he wanted to give a good home.

The radio was in very poor condition. The case was in 3 parts and the plywood and veneer had separated over most of the radio. This all had to be glued back together. After that tedious process was done it still needed 2 tubes and 3 capacitors. It now looks pretty good except for the top were the veneer was the worst.
